"Our role is not to pull people out of the mud, instead, it is sit right there beside them and stick our feet in the mud with them, letting people know that they are not alone".
Robert Sams, Executive Director Lifeline Direct, Lifeline Australia

Lifeline recognises this is a challenging time for people and encourage you to connect with others and reach out for help if you are struggling.

It is evident that we may be in and out of restrictions for a while and our Lifeline Shops will be required to cease trade in line with local government enforcement, as they are not considered an essential service. We will re-open with COVID safe practices in place once restrictions allow. For up-to-date information on our Lifeline Shops please visit the Shops page on our website and call ahead if you are unsure to avoid disappointment.

Our face to face services and training will also be effected during this time. We do however have a free Video Counselling service available and online training courses. Counselling appointments can be made via this link - https://www.lifeline.org.au/community-counselling/ and more information is available on our Training page.

Video Counselling is available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm and while it doesn’t require a referral, you will need to pre-book an appointment time.

We would like to remind you Lifeline is here to help if you need someone to talk to.
