Lifeline Direct operates ten Lifeline Centres across NSW, Victoria and the Northern Territory, as well as over 30 Lifeline Shops. As a direct service delivery arm of Lifeline Australia, our role is to:

  1. Contribute to Lifeline's nationally delivered services through our network of Lifeline Centres, as well as offer additional bespoke support services locally.
  2. Deliver the suite of Lifeline's Specialist Targeted Services nationally.
  3. Support Lifeline Australia through the delivery of Lifeline Network Services that include Centralised service support for our national network of Crisis Supporters working on the front line, and other innovation projects.

Lifeline Bondi

Situated in the eastern suburbs of Sydney Lifeline Bondi was established in August 2022.

Lifeline Central Coast NSW

Situated in Wyoming on the Central Coast of NSW, Lifeline Central Coast was established in March 1981.

Lifeline Geelong & South West Victoria

With services and shops covering the Geelong Barwon region and the Lifeline office based in Geelong, Lifeline has had a long history supporting the region and those in crisis since being established in 1978.

Lifeline Hunter

Since 1966 Lifeline Hunter has supported those in crisis in the Newcastle, Hunter and Lake Macquarie regions. The Lifeline office is based in Islington, Newcastle and is a hub for training, counselling, service delivery and volunteering.

Lifeline New England North West

With crisis support volunteer centres and shops in Armidale and Tamworth, Lifeline is working to expand its service delivery in the region.

Lifeline Northern Melbourne

Lifeline Northern Melbourne was established to connect more closely with communities from Hume to Mitchell. We currently have a Lifeline Shop in Bundoora and are looking to expand our service offering, community and corporate training and open more shops in the future.

Lifeline Northern NSW

Lifeline Northern NSW, formally Lifeline Northern Rivers has been offering support to the local community for over 40 years since it was established in February 1984. The main office is in Lismore, with shops and services covering the broader region.

Lifeline Western Melbourne

The Western Melbourne community stretches from Hobson Bay to Melton and has a crisis support call centre located in VU St Albans campus which opened in June 2023, and a Lifeline Shop in Moonee Ponds to help financially support service delivery.

Lifeline

Lifeline Direct, on behalf of Lifeline Australia employees a specialised team to deliver centralised service support for those working in front line roles in crisis support. This team supports Crisis Supporters nationally 24/7 so they can access on-shift support.
