Established in 2007, Suicide Call Back Service is a national phone and online counselling service for anyone who has been impacted by suicide or is worried about someone.
Our network of Specialist Targeted Services are a 24/7 national charitable provider of suicide prevention, mental health and counselling services. We provide free professional support and help for people to navigate Australia’s complex service systems.
Through specialised services our vision is for a society free from suicide, psychological distress and family violence where everyone can access the support they need to promote good mental health, connection to community, and positive relationships.Our purpose is to prevent suicide and to support people in need through the provision of professional mental health and counselling services 24/7.
We specialise in remote service provision and using technology to reach people in need. The Specialist Targeted Services team delivers some of Australia’s most vital free helpline services, including MensLine Australia, Suicide Call Back Service, and SuicideLine Victoria.

MensLine Australia
Established in 2001, MensLine is a national phone and online counselling service for men with family and relationship issues. We help all men in all types of relationships.
SuicideLine Victoria
Established in 1998, SuicideLine is a state-based phone and online counselling service for people impacted by suicide or anyone experiencing mental health issues.
Care in Mind
Free 24/7 online and phone counselling for people living, working or studying in Melbourne’s northern, central and western suburbs.
Regional Access
Regional Access offers free professional telephone and online counselling 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people 15 years and older living or working in regional South Australia.
MindHealth
MindHealth is a free professional counselling service operating between 7am and 9pm Monday to Saturday for people 15 years and older living or working in the Hunter New England and Central Coast regions.
