Have you ever thought about volunteering as a Lifeline Crisis Supporter?
Every day, Australians reach out to Lifeline during moments of crisis. Our Crisis Supporters are trained volunteers who listen, support, and help people feel less alone when it matters most.
This online Crisis Supporter Information Session is an opportunity to learn more about the role and decide if it’s right for you, no pressure and no obligation. In this session, you’ll learn:
What a Lifeline Crisis Supporter does
- The training and accreditation process
- The time commitment (just 4 hours a fortnight)
- The support and supervision provided
- How to apply if you’d like to take the next step
- There will also be time to ask questions live.
Can’t attend on the night?
You’ll have the option to download a pre-recorded session and watch it at your convenience.
Lifeline Crisis Supporters come from all walks of life. What they share is empathy, a willingness to listen, and a desire to help others through difficult moments.
