How do I book in to see a counsellor?
Lifeline offers a free counselling service. We have counsellors based here in Newcastle and at our outreach sites. To book in, contact 1300 152 854 and our customer service team will assist you.
Do you offer financial or relationship counselling?
While Lifeline don’t offer specialised financial counselling or relationship counselling for couples, our counselling service can help people work thought issues and stress that may be caused as a result of financial and relationship difficulties.

Do you offer assistance with food vouchers and bills?
No. Lifeline don’t offer food or financial assistance. Visit https://hunterhomelessconnect.org.au/ to locate the Community Services Directory where you will find a list of service providers.
I would like to make a furniture donation. Can I organise for lifeline to pick up our furniture?
Yes. Lifeline offers a furniture pick up service from the Hamilton shop. Please contact the shop on 02 4940 2070 to organise a pickup day and time.
How much does it cost to see a counsellor?
Lifeline do not charge for our counselling services. However, you are welcome to make a donation at the time of your session.
Do you offer counselling to children or adolescents?
Lifeline offer counselling to people age 16 or older.
