Lifeline Shops are very grateful for the donation of quality furniture and clothing. All goods sold through our Lifeline Shops help to financially support our counselling services, telephone crisis support training and suicide prevention programs.

Your donation helps Lifeline offer Crisis Support services to your local community

Your Donation

Our retail outlets sell quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, furniture, bric-a-brac, some electrical goods, books, records, craft and accessories.

You can feel good about donating, knowing your items will be valued and re-sold to fund the delivery of life-saving services.

Quality Donations

Our shops are grateful for donations of quality goods, everything we are able to sell helps make a difference. Items not in saleable condition unfortunately come at a cost to dispose of and take away from funds available to support the local community.

Where can I donate items to Lifeline?

Small donations can be taken directly to any of our Lifeline Shops during opening hours. We ask that you please phone ahead before dropping off donations of larger quantities to make sure donations can be accepted and avoid disappointment.

Donations of larger items and quantities can be taken directly to our Thornton Warehouse - 32 Pipeclay Avenue, Thornton NSW, during opening hours.

We offer a free collection service for larger donations and furniture, if you are in the Newcastle, Maitland or Port Stephens regions. Call to book a collection time.

We ask that when organising a collection with us, you specify the condition of the goods and quantity that you would like collected. If, for any reason, our truck drivers deem the goods unsaleable, please do not be offended. As much as we would like to, we cannot accept baby furniture.
