Our goal in providing all our services is to ensure that people seeking help in our communities can find it when, how and where they need it.
Lifeline Direct's annual report reflects on the 20/21 financial year and connects to the impact our regional centres have had by being in community, for community and with community as we grow and adapt to community need.
The experiences of FY19/20, through drought, bushfire and the global pandemic, were the cause for important learning for our team at Lifeline Direct (LLD) and we were able to take this learning into FY20/21. This was critical as demand for our services grew again this year, and along with other Lifeline Centres in our national network, LLD rose to the task of answering more calls on the national crisis line than at any time in our history.
