A new op-shop hits Murwillumbah’s main street – 15 January 2026
Lifeline Northern NSW is excited to announce the opening of its newest Lifeline Shop in the heart of Murwillumbah at 28 Murwillumbah Street. This vibrant new store opened its doors on Thursday, 15 January 2026, bringing a fresh shopping experience to the local community.
The Murwillumbah shop will offer a wide range of new and pre-loved homewares, fashion, manchester, electrical items, books, music, and small furniture pieces – all while helping fund Lifeline Northern NSW’s vital suicide prevention services.
Shop Manager Katy is looking forward to welcoming new customers.
“Our new store has a bright, fresh look and will be open seven days a week for everyone to enjoy,” said Katy. “With a large floor space and great variety, we’re confident shoppers will love what they find.”
Proceeds from Lifeline Shops directly supports the 13 11 14 crisis support line, and the training of new Crisis Supporter volunteers to answer calls from those facing their toughest moments. Donations to the shop in another way the community can actively support Lifeline.
“There’s more demand for Lifeline services than ever before,” Katy added. “Every purchase helps ensure that someone in crisis can reach out and find hope.”
Donations of quality pre-loved items are welcome during shop hours. For larger items, please call ahead.
“Op-shopping with Lifeline is a win-win,” said Katy. “You’ll find a bargain, help the environment by giving items a second life, and support lifesaving services.”
