This update is provided in response to recent Covid19 restrictions announced on the 26th June 2021.
Recently introduced COVID safety restrictions have been announced in NSW, including in the regions where Lifeline supports our local communities.
During the period of the extended lockdowns in the Greater Sydney region, Lifeline will continue to provide our 24/7 Crisis Support via our national 13 11 14 service.
We will also continue to support people through our community (video) counselling service which can be accessed via this link -https://www.lifeline.org.au/community-counselling/. This service is available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
Lifeline's offices and Lifeline Shops in the region will remain open, however with the well-being of our staff and the people who we support in communities will remaining our priority. To ensure this, Lifeline will follow all advice provided by the Health Department in delivering our services. This will include wearing masks and adopting the four-square meter rule in places where our team continue to work.
We thank people for your patience as we adopt to these new and changing circumstances and encourage you to reach out if you need support.
Regards,
Robert Sams
