How do I book in to see a counsellor?
Lifeline offers a free counselling service. We have counsellors based here on the Central Coast and at our outreach sites. To book in, contact 1300 152 854 and our customer service team will assist you.
Do you offer financial counselling?
Yes, through our connection with Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, Lifeline Central Coast are able to offer access to Free financial counselling to Central Coast residence.
A financial counsellor can:
- Help with government and insurance claims
- Advocate on your behalf with your creditors
- Develop financial and practical options
- Assist in budgeting and organising your finances
- Provide referrals to legal support
Financial counselling is FREEAccredited and experienced Financial Counsellors are available via phone or online by appointment.

Do you offer assistance with food vouchers and bills?
No. Lifeline don’t offer food or financial assistance. Visit https://hunterhomelessconnect.org.au/ to locate the Community Services Directory where you will find a list of service providers.
I would like to make a furniture donation. Can I organise for lifeline to pick up our furniture?
Yes. Lifeline offers a furniture pick up service from East Gosford shop. Please contact the shop on 02 4322 0977 to organise a pickup day and time.
How much does it cost to see a counsellor?
Lifeline do not charge for our counselling services. However, you are welcome to make a donation at the time of your session.
Do you offer counselling to children or adolescents?
Lifeline offer counselling to people age 16 or older.
