Lifeline Shops are very grateful for the donation of quality furniture and clothing. All goods sold through our Lifeline Shops help to financially support our counselling services, telephone crisis support training and suicide prevention programs.
Your donation helps Lifeline offer Crisis Support services to your local community
Our retail outlets sell quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, furniture, bric-a-brac, some electrical goods, books, records, craft and accessories.
You can feel good about donating, knowing your items will be valued and re-sold to fund the delivery of life-saving services.
Our shops are grateful for donations of quality goods, everything we are able to sell helps make a difference. Items not in saleable condition unfortunately come at a cost to dispose of and take away from funds available to support the local community.

Furniture pick-up service
- Call to book (02) 4322 0977
We offer a free collection service if you are in the Central Coast region. This service is currently operating but limited. We appreciate you understanding as we work to get operations back to full capacity.
We ask that when organising a collection with us, you specify the condition of the goods and quantity that you would like collected. If, for any reason, our truck drivers deem the goods unsaleable, please do not be offended. As much as we would like to, we cannot accept baby furniture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I send an image of the item I want to donate?
When you call or enquire about a donation pick-up, our staff will request that a photo is provided via email.
How soon can my collection be booked?
This can vary at times throughout the year, anywhere from 3-10 business days.
What areas do you service?
We offer furniture pick up in locations where we have warehousing facilities. These include Geelong, South West VIC, Newcastle, Central Coast NSW, and Northern NSW.
What are the collection days?
Collection days may vary for each location, however pick-ups are weekdays only (Monday to Friday).
Are you currently accepting donations?
Yes, we are always grateful for donations of quality goods in saleable condition.
Are there any items you can't accept?
Please see our list of items we are unable to accept as donations.
What is the collection process?
When you call to book furniture pick-up or fill in a booking form, our team will request a description of the item and a photo to be emailed for suitability assessment, before we can commit to picking up the item/s. This helps to avoid disappointment and inconvenience for you.
A date for pick-up will be provided but we cannot confirm exact times.
Can you come and collect a large load of smaller items?
A donation pick-up booking can only be made for furniture collections, however we will take additional items when collecting furniture if in good, saleable condition and if it is not on our restricted items list.
Where can I drop items off myself?
We recommend phoning ahead before dropping off donations to avoid disappointment. While we always do our best to accept donations, there are times when it is unsafe for us to accept more due to storage limitations. Donations of bigger items or in larger quantities are best taken to a warehouse location. Not all shops can accept donations of furniture due to the size of the shop.
