About the AfterCare Service
Connecting you with an AfterCare Coordinator
By calling 1300 152 854, an AfterCare Coordinator will be requested to contact you to arrange to meet either in person or speak with you over the phone. They will listen to what is happening for you, create a safety plan and work with you to design a program of support that you are comfortable with. Your Coordinator will arrange regular check-ins with you throughout the program that line up and fit in with your everyday schedule.
Counselling Sessions
Six face-to-face (or video) counselling sessions are available for people who enter this program. These sessions are free.

A dedicated after-hours phone crisis service
Phone support specifically for AfterCare participants is available Monday to Friday between 5:00 pm to 9:00 am, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. This is not a counselling service but a crisis line; a caring voice, an empathic listener to be there for additional support during the program.
Linking you with further assistance
The AfterCare service will provide referrals to external community organisations that can provide practical support and services to address holistic issues such as housing, finances, and/or relationships when required.
