Lifeline Hunter is proud to support Everyone has a Story - Hunter Mental Health initiative. Last week we attended the official launch for 2022 at the Newcastle Yacht Club. Our Community and Business Development Manager, Patrick Calabria spoke at the launch of suicide in the hunter and Lifeline Hunters’ commitment to providing local services.
Everyone has a Story is a Hunter mental health initiative and aims to break the stigma of discussing mental health within businesses and make for healthier workplaces. It has been developed in alignment with the national Mental Health Awareness month in October to normalise that everyone has their own story and journey in life.
The message of Everyone has a Story is Don’t let your internal struggles go unseen. Through sharing personal stories, the aim is to break down barriers and build common ground amongst employees to reduce the stigma around mental illness.
