Lifeline has developed this practical and informative workshop to help you build resilience and develop strategies for managing the impacts of stress, exhaustion, overwhelm and emotional turmoil.

High levels of stress, anxiety, depression, tiredness, exhaustion, burnout, overwhelm, headaches, sleeping problems, indigestion, emotional and mental turmoil are becoming commonplace in the workplace and considered normal. This is our body’s way of clearly showing us that something is not right. While we can easily ignore our body’s messages and carry on, what impact is this having on us now and in the future?

Self-care is not just about sleep, fitness and nutrition. It is about being able to recharge and reenergize our physical, psychological and emotional state so that we can continue to be the amazing individuals we are.

In this workshop you be able to:

  • Gain a better understanding of resilience and its importance in developing and maintaining self-care practices

  • Personalise a set of self-care intentions to integrate into daily or weekly routines

It is easy for self-care to fall by the wayside or become a low priority. This presentation reminds us to tune into our own needs and whatever “re-creational” and restorative experiences help to retain enthusiasm, energy and general wellbeing. Self-care is not a luxury but a necessity for us to maintain our well-being and carry on with our work.

We are offering these workshops to all frontline workers, teachers and parents in Armidale, Inverell, and Tenterfield.

These workshops are online only.
